How Rehydration Salts work?

Rehydration salts substitute water and salts losses, accompanied by vomiting and diarrhoea, and help maintaining intestinal flora balance by counteracting the undesirable effect of antibiotics, as well as restoring intestinal flora affected by diarrhoea.

Rehydration salts is a food supplement, a composition based on electrolytes, such as potassium, magnesium, magnesium pidolate, sodium chloride and a new generation prebiotic: Bioecolians obtained from plant extract. It helps compensate the loss of minerals; Bioecolia probiotic helps maintain normal intestinal flora and regulate intestinal transit. Magnesium contributes to prevent the dehydration of the body. Potassium helps maintain normal blood pressure. Sodium and chloride are minerals that the body needs (in small quantities) to ensure a balanced level of fluids in the body.

Instructions for use

For rehydrating purposes, recommended daily dose:

• 1 sachet 2 times per day (for children between 1 - 3 years);
• 1 sachet 3 times per day (for children over 3 years);
• 1 sachet 4-8 times per day (for adults).

For maintaining the balance of intestinal flora, recommended daily dose:

• 1 sachet per day (for children between 1 - 3 years);
• 1 sachet 2 times per day (for children over 3 years);
• 1 sachet 3 times per day (for  adults);

Instructions: contents of the sachet are dissolved in 250 ml of boiled and cooled water, and the obtained solution is administered within 2 hours. Adults are recommended to take 1-2 liters the diluted solution, depending on the degree of dehydration.
